Alotta Gelato

It was hot hot day and what's more satisfying than a cool mango gelato. Yup, that's right, mango. I just love my mango flavor desserts. :)

About a year ago, I didn't even know what gelato meant or if it was even English. I know that it's the sexy Italian word for ice cream. In Wikipedia, Gelato is made with milk, cream, and sugars with a fresh fruit and nut puree flavoring. Gelato is another dessert that makes heart smile. As my spoon glides down the smooth, cool sorbet, I salivate for the sweetness. Hmmm..... I can't wait to go to Italy.

Gold Star Rewards

I'm a Starbucks lover. A strong lover for about three years now. I'm not an addict yet. I'm just a Gold Starbucks member. :)

I earn my tiny gold stars on a daily basis. Every morning, I'm a regular at this Starbucks locations. After more than 100 check-ins, I've become the duchess. Yup, it does sound a bit addictive, huh? Well, I'm not. I purely enjoy my flavored coffee and it's become a routine and the rewards helps. I get SUPER excited, SUPER delighted, and SUPER happy when I reach my 12th gold star. Seeing the 12th star fall into my mobile cyber coffee cup, I know the congratulatory message will be showing up on my mobile app. What wonderful news.

After so many cups of vanilla latte, caramel macchiatto, and thai lattes, the barista finally knows my name. I even get a happy face on my cup. That happy face on my cup always puts a happy face on me.

Hearing you happy, makes me happy

My job is not the easiest one. There's pressure from the higher up and then the anxiety kicks in for the day and then all hell breaks lose. Alright, alright, it's not the end of the world. It's just a job. I know you know how it feels, my fellow corporate office peeps.

After all the stress throughout the day, it only takes one happy moment from one person. When I hear a shout of excitement from a candidate over the phone, I know that I've done my job. I've accomplished my goal. I made you happy and it's all that matters.

Let yourself go whenever you can

As a mom, it's always nice to know that other moms also gets excited about a night out in town. I know how it is being a mom and a night out with your friends reminds me that I'm still me and I still could have fun. I have loads of fun and good memories being mom, too. The night out just reminds me that I'm not JUST a mom, I'm still me as an individual.

When I see the fellow mommies sparkle as they tell me their stories of their "once in a VERY VERY long time" night out alone, I realize that every mom deserves some fun once in a while. Everyone needs some "ME" time. So moms out there, don't feel guilty, go out and have fun once in while. You only live once and if you could feel, be, and hear your heart smile, then you've done the job for tonight.

Pool Time

It was a hot, sunny Sunday and just perfect to be lying around poolside. Living in Hawaii, we have the beach all around us but sometimes, it's just cleaner to be in a pool. Don't get me wrong, I love the beaches and the soft sand in between my toes but a nice clean pool looks very attractive, too.

Alright so the pool that I was sitting next to was nothing like this one, but I could imagine it. Wouldn't everyone want a pool like this in their house? I know I sure do. Even if the pool was not as HOT and SEXY as the above picture, I had a grand ole time tanning on the poolside and relaxing with my Cosmopolitan magazine in hand. Nothing beats a "chill" pool day. The breeze and the good-looking guy across the pool was just perfect setting. :)

Here's to never growing up

Being an adult is hard. Don't you agree? There are bills, work, and health to worry about everyday. We have to make decisions after decisions. We are always worrying about everything that goes on and everything we do has consequences. I get soooo tired of being an adult sometimes.

Being a kid just seems so easy. They play all day, play all night, and wake up and play some more the next day. It's hard not to want to be a kid when they seem to have so much fun without worry. Kids, enjoy elementary days and everyday of your childhood. Parents should remind their kids.

What do I do when I'm just trying to find my way through my obstacle-full life, we jump. We found this fun i-Trampoline place and we started jumping for fun. We were pretty much the only adults there amongst the many, many birthday parties and we acted like a kid. It was the best day. A day of fun, a day of energy, a day of memories.

A small gesture, big smile

After a long day of hard work and feeling gloomy, it's amazing to come home find out that someone is thinking of me. It's not about the gift or what the gift is, it's about the thought. I was grateful to know that my friend thought of me. The smallest gesture means the entire world to me. It gives me motivation, inspiration, and a big smile across my face.
