After a long day of hard work and feeling gloomy, it's amazing to come home find out that someone is thinking of me. It's not about the gift or what the gift is, it's about the thought. I was grateful to know that my friend thought of me. The smallest gesture means the entire world to me. It gives me motivation, inspiration, and a big smile across my face.

Catching Up
It's always nice to catch up with friends. Sometimes life gets too busy and you get tired of making plans. Then you start to get lazy. Yes, I'll admit it. Sometimes, I'm guilty of being the friend who don't keep in touch and make plans but I still try my best to touch base with my good friends.
Friends are always around when you need a laugh, a vent session, and an answer. Even though the conversations might be a repetitive discussion, the responses are different every time. During tonight's dinner, the discussion turned intense, we get animated and we noticed that we become topic of other parties conversation. LOL!!! That's what happened tonight. We love the attention. :)
It's always fun to catch up with friends. We should remember to find time to be you and you with your friends. No matter how busy you are, make some time to catch up.

Mariner's Ridge
This has got to be my favorite hike. Why? Well, there's shade and there's sun. Of course, I like to hike but I'm no professional. I take breaks and I need help sometimes. I huff and puff and sigh all the way up but once I see this amazing view, I know that it's all worth it. I LOVE IT.
Mariner's Ridge is a trail behind the residential area. I've heard that sometimes they close off the trail because of the traffic of hikers, but they always open it back up. It was fun trail. I hid in the tree and in the tall grasses. It's a trail fit for all ages, all levels, and all people. When you reach the top, you'll get a chance to listen to the sound of the singing wind. Just relaxing! *sigh*

Baked
I'm not really a baker or much of a cook. Today, I really wanted to make some pig in a blanket so I was determined to buy the ingredients. After the grocery store, I came home to prepare the piggies in the blanket. I wanted to be spontaneous and sauteed mushrooms to fill the croissants, too. Yup, that's me, spontaneous. :)
Here's the picture of the end result. Maybe not the best looking croissants, but at least it's edible. I was having a hard time wrapping the mushrooms in the croissants. No matter how it looked, I feel accomplished today. I attempted to bake and it was edible. That is truly all that matters and that makes me happy. :)

Me love Midori
One of my favorite drinks at this lounge is called Midori. It's a mixed cocktail with sake. Don't ask me what's in it, that's all I remember. It always makes me happy and smiley when I have a drink with good company. My drink stories are never as fun as some people's drinky stories, but mines are always memorable because of the laughter reminiscing the ridiculous past adventures.

Beach
Living in Hawaii is a reward. We are surrounded by beach and sunshine. Sometimes I don't get to go to the beach as often as I should for someone living on a beautiful island. When I do have a chance to go to the beach, it's always a rewarding and relaxing day. The sun embracing me, the view of the blue water, and the sound of wave crashing into the sands reminds me of how lucky I am to live in Hawaii. I do dream about moving away from this tiny island sometimes, but I may miss the sunshine too much to keep myself away.

You could never have enough fries
Fries are one of my favorite food. It goes with anything. Well, at least to me, it goes with anything. When I'm feeling down, fries would make me feel much better. All the fried, greasiness, and crispiness is just yummy. Fries also are perfect with all kinds of different sauces like ranch, honey mustard, buttermilk, and cheese. My mouth is salivating now. Let's go grab some fries.
